St Joseph's Institution (SJI) is the school which i placed in 2nd choice after having a PSLE T score of 247. My first choice was actually Catholic High but that was my parents and relatives' choice. My favourite school is in fact SJI. When I went to both Sji and cat high, i compared the two and concluded that sji is a better school for me. And it has been!
For the past few months in Sji, i had a really warm welcome into Sji on the first day. I felt that her way of starting school was great as the orientation camp was the first big item on the list of programmes and it was a successful one.
I think SJI did that was to allow us to get to know one another better and to communicate well with our classmates we just met.
Before the first day of school, i knew i was going to be a total stranger and im going to meet other strangers in school. Fortunately, i had a friend which came from the same primary school as me. That boy is none other than Ace. He has been a good friend to me all the time. At first, i had no one except him. But through the camp, i had made more friends and i know all my classmates and they know me.
I am really happy to be posted to Sji. Its the school of my dreams!
